Scentwork UK Workshop Date TBA 10AM - 3PM
£60 for a working spot £30 spectators
Scentwork UK promotes and develops scentwork both as a training activity and as a dog sport with regular trials taking place nationally.
Scentwork UK trials are based on detection-style nose work practised daily by customs and excise dogs, bomb explosive dogs, search and rescue dogs and medical detection dogs. This workshop, which will be run by Emma Stoker, who is a Scentwork UK recognised trainer, will introduce you and your dog to Scentwork, including active searches, passive/active indications and target scents. There will also be a focus on the level 1 search areas, including vehicle, luggage and boxes, tables and chairs and exterior searches. Scentwork is excellent for older dogs, reactive dogs - in fact, 'all' dogs. £60 for the day will include a mini Scentwork starter kit. Get in touch to book your place. |
Dog Parkour Workshop Date TBA 10AM - 3PM
£60 for a working spot £30 spectators
Dog parkour combines human parkour and dog agility elements to create an accessible activity for dogs and humans alike. Dogs get introduced to the world of jumping, climbing, balancing over, crawling under, and going around various obstacles in their everyday world.
Parkour can be done anywhere and is limited only by your imagination. Dog parkour helps with confidence and overcoming fears, and it is a low impact but challenging activity for any canine athlete. This workshop will build on our introduction to dog parkour, teaching all of the intermediate title's required behaviours. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of equipment plus our purpose-built dog parkour climbing frame. This workshop will be run by Emma Stoker, an accredited International Dog Parkour Instructor who holds IDPKA titles with her Spaniel Pip. |
