Booking online including making your payment in full, will secure you a place on our courses.
Unfortunately, if you miss a session we are unable to offer an alternative date - as these sessions are scheduled at specific times. If your dog does not settle in the classes, alternative one to one sessions will be offered for a small additional admin fee.
Cancellation of these classes will incur an admin fee of £10.00 The refund must be claimed within 2 weeks.
Sessions may be rescheduled online up to 48 hours before the booking. You can reschedule from both your booking confirmation emails and your reminder emails also. Reminder emails are sent out 72 hours before appointments to allow for rescheduling if needed. Cancellation after this time results in full fee being payable.
Booking and payment online, secures a place on that workshop. A full refund will be given if cancelled up to 60 days before the event. 50% refund if cancelled 28 - 60 days before event. No refund if cancelled 28 days or less before event. Deposits are non refundable.
Online booking with full payment will secure your place on a course. If for some reason you dog does not settle in classes a series of one to one sessions will be offered or a refund given. The refund must be claimed within 2 weeks. See Cancellation Policy for fees payable.
You are responsible for the conduct of your own dog at all times. Please do not allow your dog to approach other people or dogs without asking the handlers first; some dogs may be uncomfortable around other dogs or people and handlers may be working through these problems by closely monitoring their dog’s proximity to others.
DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD at all times unless staff give permission to the contrary.
WELFARE. The car park has no shade and cars MUST be covered appropriately to keep cars cool in warm weather. Water and adequate ventilation are essential. Puppy Plus reserve the right to ask owners to leave and take their dogs’ home should the dog’s welfare be compromised.
HARSH HANDLING. Should any handler or their family or friends be seen using harsh handling or aversive equipment we will privately bring this to their attention and politely ask that the practice ceases. We will also advise on a more appropriate method and/or equipment. Should it continue Puppy Plus reserve the right to ask owners to leave and take their dogs’ home.
DOG WASTE. You are responsible for picking up dog waste on the premises.
All attendees agree to abide by the health & safety instructions given by the organisers. In particular, evacuation procedures in the event of a fire.
In the event that the organisers need to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be made to all delegates within 14 days of the cancellation date. Notification of cancellation will be made to all delegates by email. Refunds can and will only be made by the same method the original payment was received. Should this occur on the actual date of the course we will attempt to make contact by telephone wherever possible. We will also post a cancellation notice on Facebook (Puppy Plus) and the website puppyplus.co.uk.
Please bring your vaccination card or titre test results to the first session or send a photocopy / email a copy prior to the course start. Failure to do this will result in you not being able to start the course. This policy is to protect the health of other dogs and puppies.
Electric or spray collars, check chains, prong collars, pet correctors, rattle cans, water sprays. Nor do we allow any physical corrections, alpha rolls or verbal abuse towards dogs in our classes. Head collars and harnesses may be used if the make and fit are checked with your trainer in advance.
